Push back the limits - Trango XC² from UP

We're about to introduce our new High-Performance Cross Country weapon - as usual, you guys are the first to know...

In UP-speak, Trango has always been synonymous with top performance you can handle. As you can all imagine, even this time-proven concept has been under pressure in recent times, due to the CIVL decision to ban the Open Class. However, we have decided to remain true to our tradition, and KEEP the Trango Series as an accessible high-performance cross country machine "for the masses". As it turns out, the latest Trango incarnation, which we call Trango XC², although optimised for performance, is in fact quite a lot EASIER than its predecessors in all maneouvres!

Based on the prototypes flown by Toma Coconea and Ferdy van Schelven in the 2011 Red Bull X-Alps, this new wing is a cross-country pilots' dream; it is so easy, so intuitive to fly, that all mental ressources are free to concentrate on more productive matters than the basic "keep it flying" stuff! The Edge XR concept has contributed greatly especially inside, with long Nylon reinforcements a la 2-liners along the leading edge, and shorter, but also 2-liner inspired, Nylon battens over the C-lines. That being said, the Trango XC² IS NOT a 2-liner, and nor should it be - it is a 3-liner wing, designed to be flown by people who appreciate the extra safety in this principle. This becomes obvious the first time you either encounter extreme turbulence or decide to provoke your own asymmetrical collapse - the reactions are astoundingly benign for a wing in this class.

• Airfoil Stabilizing System (ASS) - perfectly shaped leading edge at all speeds and throughout the lifetime of the wing
• Edge XR-Technology in the leading edge and above the C-lines
• refined BTS system along the trailing edge - tension when you need it, and only when you need it

What does that mean to you? It means that your good, solid pilots now get to fly EN D performance with EN C safety, basically. We hope you'll agree that this is fantastic news!

Imaš pravo, kod mene je isto tako. Baš me zanima i za druge dilere.
Čak su obustavili isporuku za Francusku i Austriju jer prvo idu krila u HR.

Nije li to kliše koji je polupao najviše pilota (svojevremeno apco filozofija "DHV2 comp krila") koja navuče nekoga da se zaleti tam gdje mu još nije mjesto :bad:

Krilo se čini vrlo zanimljivo, pogotovo za one gladne performansi a s ograničenjem po pitanju veličine testisa, samo jedna stvar mi nije jasna

Mislim da ne. Trango xc2 je EN-D krilo i proizvođač to jasno daje do znanja. Kod konstuiranja su se vodili idejom što više pasivne sigurnosti u EN-D performansama. Ispalo je da na testu ispunjava zahtjeve EN-C klase, ali kao što i proizvođač navodi, to nije krilo za pilote čija je sposobnost letenja na nivou EN-C.


Neznam što znači točno Flappy ali obečajem da ču saznati
Ako je ono što mislim a to je da su kod Edge xr-a zatvaranja bila stvarno bila smiješna i minijaturna
Onda bi Flappy trebao biti u nekom žargonu klofančić ili nešto slično tome
U skoro vrijeme stiže jedan M veličine (konačno M-do 110 max) moći čete i sami probati

As a final note please consider that this wing WAS in fact designed to be an EN D wing, albeit a "classic" EN D wing. This means that although it is certified EN C it may not be the first choice for newcomers to the EN C class - the Summit XC² is perfect for that - but if you have been flying EN C for a while and were thinking of moving to the EN D class, yet you don't feel like going for a full-on 2-liner, then this is the wing for you

Krilo je dizajnirano da bude EN D. Ocjena je takva kakva je meni pozitivna.

Mislim da Trango serija nije nikog polupao dosad
OSIM što je Sonju i Boška malo preplašio ali i to se ne uzima u obzir jer tada još nisu znali letjeti :mocking:


moj komentar je bila šala i nije usmjerena protiv UP (čak sam si nabavio tranga3 za sebe) ali da se zna u propagandi nakakat svašta to stoji. Svi kad zagrizemo gledamo dva koraka naprijed. Ja cijelu svoju pg karijeru letim krila iznad svoje pg satnice i letačke kvalitete a takvi reklamni slogani su dobro pomogli. Dosta nas se sječa sgresivnog reklamnog vala apca sa forom pobijedite na takmičenju sa DHV2 krilom i mnogo je letača (sposobnih za letenje dhv2) uzelo spomenute dvojke i letila sa deseterostruko povećanim zjenicama oka.

Ja sam siguran da je TXC2 super krilo ali pizdarije (karikiram)tipa dvolajner konstrukcija kupole, sa tri gurtne i rasporedom špagica kao u 2,5 lajnera i finesom 16 i sve to u sigurnosti enc klase - hallo. A ta priča će sigurno nekoga uvjetno rečeno "slabijeg" pilota povući da uzme to krilo a jaje si dam odrezati da kad ga dobro sasuje da mu certifikacija EN-C neće puno značiti.

Ja sam odustao od comp en-d klase, on buduće comp klase i rješio sam se stare komp klase (koja je imala x ekstra modela zadovoljavajuće pasivne sigurnosti). I meni srce jače zakuca kad vidim enza onako elegantnog kako projuri kraj mene ali fala lepa neželim ga ni probati u labolatorijskim uvjetim

btw kaka mi se od svih tih testova (prije sam ih nešto i pogledao ali sada više ne vjerujem u niš kaj tamo vidim)

EN-D: ErZo ovaj EnZo, boomx, icepeak6 :bad:

Izgleda da su test piloti tolko skurili tolerancu za adrenalin pa sve što se otvori sa gubitkom manjim od 500 m visine i brez otvaranja rezerve je ENB a s druge strane konstruiraju sjedala s 4 rezerve :crazy:

Auu - skoro pa EN-A

pa tko si nebi uzeo krilo sa takvim testom. Ja sam povodljiv prema takvim testovima, dobrim kritikama i reklamnim sloganima i definitivno bi izabrao TXC2.
