MAVERICK 2.2 - a bit faster trimm speed and minor updates
Long time test of the MAVERICK² M by two of the best german XC pilots and ICARO's competition pilots worldwide in the course of summer 2011, as well as the completion of the sizes S and L in autum 2011, have proved small, but effective changes at the MAVERICK² M
Not at least the results of the testival of the EN C class wings in the magazine THERMIK 1-2/2012 have brought us to release these modifications bundled in a new release also for the market.
The MAVERICK² M is available in the improved version 2.2 from February 2012.
What are the advantages of version 2.2?
The upgraded MAVERICK 2.2 offers now:
approx. 2 km/h higher trim speed,
approx. 3 km/h higher final speed with speed system,
approy. 5 cm longer steering ways,
more direct handling and
significantly higher stability.
The change implies also easier starting characteristics and ground handling: it will stay up at the zenith reliably also with little wind. This was the only critics of THERMIK-magazine on the MAVERICK² in their testival.
How is the upgrade to the improved version 2.2 done?
The update from the version MAVERICK² to the new version MAVERICK 2.2 can be done without problems. The pilots gets four new main lines for the C-level.
What about the LTF/ EN C certification?
Both versions are LTF / EN C compliant.
Who needs the update?
Only pilots who are owners of a MAVERICK² size M. All wings of the model MAVERICK² size S and L are already in the version 2.2.
Who can perform the modifications?
The modifications can be done easily. The tuning set includes a detailed description and can be ordered at ICARO paragliders. The conversion takes approx. 30 minutes. Pilot who do not know anything about changing lines or is unsure about the changes should be going to an experienced and official ICARO paragliders dealer or the head office in Flintsbach, Germany.
