Prije par dana sam dobio obavjest od Woodya da su proizveli novi model sjedala za hike & fly zaljubljenike težine svega 2,6 kila.
Dear customer,
we’re pleased to announce that our new Wanì Light is ready!
It is a reversible harness and it weighs only 2.6 Kg, which tells you a lot about our attention for the ever-growing hike & fly market.
We will offer just one black/turquoise/anthracite colour combination to satisfy your limited storage needs.
The protection system is a classic airbag without the highly efficient Haska/Wanì spring device, the reason of which is keeping the harness as light as possible.
Despite that, the Wanì Light airbag offers 60% of its protection level even before taking off. We could achieve such excellent result thanks to the Nitinol, that is a highly resistant and crushproof nickel titanium wire we placed inside the lower edge of the airbag, and thanks to the new air scoop design that limits the volume variation during impact.
Even though we cannot classify the Wanì Light airbag as strictly self-inflating, the result is not far from the Haska and Wanì’s and it is absolutely comparable when the airbag is completely inflate (see attached chart about the test results).
The Wanì Light is available only in the get-up strap system to keep the total harness weight to the minimum.
The Wanì Light inherits all the design e handling features of the successful Wanì and the main frame is also very similar to the Wanì with just a few adjustments points less always to keep this beauty as light as possible.
We are sure you’ll appreciate the high quality details, too.
The concept of the reversibility system is the same as the Wanì’s and the 73-litre rucksack is placed in the back pocket that is separated from the airbag just like in the Wanì.
The total weight includes carabiners, Y-shaped tie rope, rescue handle with related rescue parachute pod and seat board.
As mentioned above, the Wanì Light is conceived mainly for the hike & fly sector and therefore the volume of the rescue parachute container is minimal but enough to store all the light rescue chutes up to 3.8 lt. The new way to insert the rescue chute into its container is extremely easy. The Wanì Light comes complete with its own rescue chute pod and handle so you cannot just use whatever pod/handle you like. The deployment test with the G-force trainer was passed with the result of 4 G.
