I am pleased to say that due to demand from pilots that are addicted to the best, the R12 has been developed. Before ordering this wing, please email Russ (russ@flyozone.com) to discuss with him your order and pilot. Russ, Luc and Dav are the best people to tell you about the R12. In summary, it is designed to give the renowned R11 glide performance with better sail tension to produce more responsive handling and more immediate response to brake input and wing feedback. The wing structure has been optimised to save weight and utilises 27g cloth on the bottom surface and some ribs to also improve the flight characteristics of this high performance wing. This wing is for highly skilled experts only.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although the R12 is very comfortable to fly it is still an Open Class wing and should only be sold to highly expert pilots who know how to fly an Open Class wing. Although the wing is very stable for this class it can still react badly in severe turbulence just like any other Open Class wing. In short the wing is not designed to make up for the shortcomings of the pilot and pilots should always respect the weather conditions. As a distributor/dealer it is your responsibility to ensure this wing is only sold to suitably qualified pilots.
